The Henley Royal Regatta fantastic summer event for anybody. Relaxing with a glass bubbly by the River Thames in the Oxfordshire countryside makes for a great day out. Add to this the spectacle of Britain’s top rowers, powering their way past you, the sounds of our unrivalled Jazz musicians playing in the private enclosure and the day is complete.
Our marquees provide stunning views of Temple Island offering the very best facility to enjoy and savour a delicious lunch and afternoon tea, further highlighted by our spectacular close-up magician. Once you arrive at Henley and walk into our marquee complex, you will experience the calmness of this beautiful setting. From the gardens outside the marquees, you have a view of the river and across to Temple Island. Private Marquees are available for 30 guests upwards, or shared facilities are available for group bookings for 10 guests.

Celebrity St George’s Day Lunch
Time once again to be as English as a fry up. ADEvents is proud to give you a long afternoon of English sporting stars, song and ale as we salute the flag and give cheer to all that is great – even the weather! 2009 has been a fantastic year for British sport, with Jenson Button shocking the world of F1, England’s cricketers regaining the Ashes, and their female counterparts claiming a clean sweep of the Ashes, the World Cup and the World Twenty20. We’ve seen a first Irish Grand Slam in 61 years in this year’s Six Nations, a fantastic World Athletics Championships with golds for Jessica Ennis and Philips Idowu, Andy Murray reached number two in the world; and Manchester United took yet another Premier League title. Who will Britons vote as the BBC Sports Personality of the Year?
The 2009 SPOTY will be presented by Sue Barker, Gary Lineker and Jake Humphrey and take place at the Sheffield Arena on Sunday 13th December and will be broadcast live on BBC1. The ceremony will be attended by a host of sports stars from all this year’s leading sports men and women, in addition to former winners of the award and many of the biggest names from the world of sport. The evening will see the announcement and presentation of the Sports Personality of the Year award to the winning candidate who include Jenson Button, Ryan Giggs, Jessica Ennis, David Haye, Andrew Strauss, Beth Tweddle, Mark Cavendish, Tom Daley, Andy Murray and Phil Idowu.
